Treasurer's Report January 2018
The society continues to thrive, both on the course and financially.
As well as being financially sound there are perpetual trophies for all events and a stock of prizes.
IIn 2017 there were 36 paid up members, four honorary members and nine golfing events. The average attendance was 20 including guests.
The cash situation at the end of 2017 was slightly distorted as the society owes the secretary £1,151 for payments made on it’s behalf. Deposits for eight of next years events have been lodged.
No bank charges in the year. In 2016 historic bank charges amounting to £969 were credited to the bank account. A further £67 refund received in 2017, so in total £1,036 of which £662 was used to subsidise Captains Cup day at Effingham. The balance, £374 is being carried forward to 2018 and may be used to subsidise a 25th anniversary event in 2019.
Other than those listed below, no other debtors or creditors.
